Myndtown Wines was established in 1995 by Philip and Fiona Rogers-Coltman. Prior to setting up Myndtown Wines, Philip had spent the previous fifteen years working in the London Wine Trade for the well known Merchant , Haynes Hanson and Clark. Having joined the Wine Trade as a van driver in 1980, he progressed to being the wine buyer at HH & C having received a fine tutorage under Anthony Hanson one of the world experts on Burgundy. After many years in London and with children growing up, it was time to move back to the county of their births and set up a small merchant in the Welsh Marches. Over the years the list has evolved and by continually tasting new wines, a wide selection of wines from all over the world is now available. Myndtown Wines is independent and consequently we purchase our wines from a variety of suppliers. We also ship wines directly from Regine Sumeire in Provence and make a selection of clarets to offer en primeur when the vintage is suitable. En primeur wines are usually selected for our clients with their drinking needs in mind and not as investments as has sadly become the case over the past years. Our suppliers in Bordeaux like to see their wines drunk not traded.

Since 2004 the day to day running of Myndtown Wines has been carried out, most efficiently it must be admitted,  by Fiona and she is always at the end of the telephone to help with your enquiries.
