These wines are made in a winery located in the shadow of the imposing and magnificent Moorish garrison, the Castillo de Clavijo. The ruins are magnificent and well worth having a look at if you happen to be in the area, or look on the internet if you can’t make the journey. Alternatively you can also get a feeling of the Spanish countryside by making your way through a bottle or two of these lovely wines. The Crianza is slightly wooded in style, but has good fruit, the Reserva is soft, round and full of luscious flavours, really good to drink. The Gran Reserva is bigger, riper and just great if you feel like a treat.
